Still Developing
As a collective, we create, develop, and facilitate experiences designed to introduce new methods of self-care and community engagement. Our events empower individuals and the communities they reside in and serve. We understand the importance of trust and Ma’at. Feed the Hood NFP along with our sponsoring partners is committed to engaging the public in promoting events, organizations, and businesses that help strengthen our socioeconomic status through social organizing, civic engagement, and varying forms of a legal and lawful business. We support Black Root Red Tree Medicine Clan in their efforts.
We recognize that it takes finance to build a nation. We also recognize the importance of maintaining and generating resources (humans, land, equipment, etc.), investments, and equity in trade and commerce. Our goal is to directly empower aboriginal families within urban communities nationwide. We provide an organizational structure that supports community needs while promoting cultural awareness and high esteem of self. We provide opportunities to persons to help establish and manage their wealth, address health and wellness concerns, and develop healthy communications and relations; creating positive impacts and changes within the family unit.

We’re providing space for a ceremony to ritualize us communing and praying together. Rituals are the foundation of aboriginal culture. We’ll exhibit a collective bodywork that tells a story of our heritage and how it has been affected by the modern-day media flow.
We’ll share how members can join the tribe network and utilize their skills, talents, and gifts to support healthy community development. We are raising money to develop our economy and increase the brand equity of the collective community. The funds will be used for agriculture and development services. Creating a platform enables us to recruit people to join the community; share endorsed products and service

I thought it was a very interesting and intriguing experience. I didn’t really know what to expect, besides the fact I was supporting a tribe effort. I didn’t really understand or get clarity to expand my learning from the science of the tone that was being performed, however, I got the opportunity to be comfortable outside of my “comfort zone” & I’m always looking for safe and inviting spaces to consider new ideas and different perspectives.
I think that was done very well. Sometimes bringing people together in that balance can be challenging to present themselves organically as open-minded as possible and potentially vulnerable at the same time is a gift of an experience in itself.
Outside of not really walking away with an over-standing of what and how tonal therapy/ sound bath work, is what I’m craving to know more of. My participation in the experience allowed me to satisfy my need to know/control the moment and not have expectations for something I just had to experience first.
To know what and how it could enhance my perception in this journey, the considerations of alternative healing tools were presented profoundly through the experience. I wonder what Master Chan’s symphony sounds like in his perfection of vision because at times it was evident that people were more into their own contribution of the instruments more than actually harmonizing together. It was enjoyable nonetheless and the compilation of efforts to facilitate that space was carried out with effective intentions. The tea I did try was wonderful.
I liked the dimensional experience provided through the ambiance, food, and the drink that was created, it was a complimentary attribute to the sound bath experience. Well done ✅

Jam Session with Sound Healing.
During a sound bath, participants typically lie on the ground while a practitioner plays a variety of sounds with various musical instruments in order to create a relaxing, meditative experience for participants. Most sound baths combine a mix of different instruments because each gives off different frequencies, or vibrations. Metal singing bowls, Crystal bowl, Chimes, Tuning forks, Gongs, and Drums are instruments you’ll hear in a sound bath. A sound bath seeks to balance our physical, emotional, and mental systems, restoring a sense of harmony. The benefits of sound baths include: Deepening relaxation,Lowering stress and Anxiety, Improving mood and Well-Being, Improving Sleep, Heightening Focus and Energy, a feeling of Rejuvenation.
This donation request covered admission, collective reading, beverages, food, and an introduction to sound bathing.
