The Future of Race, Finance, and the Future of Digital Slavery: Every Entrepreneur, Business Owner, and Active Citizen (or Un-active) Should Watch and Share

I appreciate Zakiya and her work as a press person and educator, using her space to inform ones who may not be aware of what is happening around them. This presentation is just about 3 hours long but it’s worth the watch. If you can watch a movie that’s just as long or participate in any other media activity, you can watch this shit because your life depends on it. I’ll be back to update this post later and add another supporting piece of research to add to your collection of knowledge.

Feel free to drop a comment, contact me, or hit me up on one of my accounts to share your thoughts on this information. Critical autonomy is key.

Working From the Inside Out: Triple B Challenge with Order of Ascension Crew

Go forward but get back to where you were when you were complete. Get to know me, click here for an all about.

This new moon we’re setting intentions to create balance and new habits. We’re going to be working together but at our own individual pace. We’ll be doing a different fast every week for six (6) months (June 2021) starting today (December 2020), to develop a focus on three things: brain, brand, and body. Pick four (4) habits you want to fast from and every week either pick new ones, mix them up, or continue on your journey the way you see fit. Just make sure you stick to the script. You can drop out at anytime but we, the collective, ask that you join us in cycles of 7 (days that is).

For your brand, get in tune with you. What are some hobbies you have? What ideas have been flowing through? Are you a great speaker, reader, or developer? Let’s put a list together of some ventures you can embark on to increase your equity and generate some revenue or simply just feeling good about yourself if that’s a home manicure and pedicure, sleep, or taking yourself out.

For example, for week one I am: (1) working out 30 minutes a week, (2) omit eating any animal meat or by products, (3) do one thing at a time and keep schedule to develop managing my projects, (4) no drinking alcohol or smoking weed. I am replacing these habits with drinking more herbs, practicing yoga and mediation consistently, exploring industry matters and content to keep my knowledge base fresh, and focus on my business while minding my box. Minding my box, according to sistar Divine, is minding your vagina into a healthy state by avoiding toxic foods and sex, developing your emotional intelligence, and being patient with people: including yourself, practicing transmutation. For my brand, I am producing more content for my audience(s) using my public relations, marketing, and advertising skills; and staying ready or being still until I am ready.

This challenge was inspired by Tony Gaskin’s book I read titled “Single Is Not A Curse”, and for the past few years since I’ve been dating this has been one of my reference tools for a sense of direction especially when I get off track. We’re also getting ready for the great conjunction December 21st, making space so we can have a full download of healing energy that will carry into our next ascension.

Single doesn’t mean alone, it means being autonomous with self first then reflecting that connection in your relationships with others. Practicing self care, love, and wealth creation is some benefits you can manage to factor into your life that will help you and collective consciousness, which is a equal reward for us all. Are you part of the collective human race?

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.

Sagacity: The Sacred Practice of Sage Burning

It is wise to know where your practices come from and to have deep insight into how they not only impact you, but the world. Sage comes in more than 900 species, according to Southern Living. It is a medicinal plant used in culinary and spiritual practices. It was once considered a medicinal cure-all, and can still be used to cure many dis-eases. The plant and the uses of it has become a trendy wellness practice. It is very important to know where this trend derived from and to protect the tradition by having a clear understanding of the practice to work effectively with indigenous peoples and Mother Nature.

The practice of burning sage is culturally sensitive to indigenous peoples but it’s something that we should also consider the agriculture process of and how it effects the environment.

Sage burning also known as smudging, is used for purifying and cleansing the spirit of negative energy in the home, room, or body, helping to maintain a satisfactory aura. The term smudging comes from indigenous tribes, commonly, in North America. A good question is, do they practice this medicine in other cultures, if so, where and what are they called ?

Bustle’s Nyla Burton, said “when non-native people burn sage to “smudge” their homes or other spaces, it can minimize the cultural importance of this ritual, and have a negative impact on how the herbs are grown. Instead, advocates say non-native people can learn to cleanse their spaces in ways that are culturally and ecologically sensitive. There are lots of ways to achieve the benefits of smudging by using more ethical practices, terminology, and materials.”

Definition of Smudging

“Sacred smoke from burning medicinal or sacred plants, a traditional ceremony for purifying and cleansing soul of negative thoughts of a person or place.”

The Four Elements

  • Traditionally, a shell is used as a container representing water the first element
  • Four sacred plants that are gifts from mother earth represent the second element, earth.
    • Cedar
    • Sage
    • Sweetgrass
    • Tobacco
  • Lighting of the sacred plants produces the third element, fire.
  • Smoke from the fire produces the fourth element, air.

To learn more about working effectively with Indigenous Peoples visit Indigenous Corporate Training, Inc. for more.

It is better to light the plant with a match then a gas lighter. You can burn both the leaves and the stems before wavering over the subject by hand or with a feather, traditionally natives use eagle feathers. The person being smudge can pull the smoke towards them to inhale softly. When finished the ashes are then returned to mother earth, for which this is where the gifts came from. It is said and believed that the ashes absorbs the negative thoughts and feelings.

King Von

Atlanta- Dayvon Daquan Bennett, also known as King Von, a Chicago Native was gunned down outside Monaco Hookah Lounge , 255 W. Trinity Ave. SW, a nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia after a reported argument happened between two groups which left three dead and three injured.

The identities of the other victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.The investigation into the incident remains open and very active, officials said.”

According to is publicist Erin Ryan via Audible Treats said:

King Von, a rising rapper known for his visceral storytelling, passed away in Atlanta on November 6th. Born and raised in Chicago’s O’Block neighborhood, Dayvon Bennett emerged from difficult circumstances to become one music’s most promising stars. The 26-year-old artist left us just as the world was beginning to grasp the depths of his talents. Last week, Von shared his debut album, Welcome To O’Block, offering a cinematic and vivid account of his origin story, providing an inside perspective on neighborhood life and the trauma wrought by the criminal justice system.

King Von was a luminary — a natural storyteller, an artist on the verge of superstardom who had so much more to give the world. He overcame myriad unjust circumstances yet remained steadfastly dedicated to giving back to the community that raised him, O’Block. He was a devoted father, a deeply loyal friend, and a man who took care of his people before himself. We are heartbroken for his family, his friends, his team, and his fans. Long live King Von.

Standard Deliverable for Social Agency Business Formation

Understanding Key Business Agreements and the Client Partnership Approach

In any professional venture or collaboration, establishing clear terms is essential to protect each party’s interests and lay a strong foundation for successful outcomes. Among the most commonly used agreements are the Non-Disclosure & Non-Circumvention Agreement (NDNCA), Professional Services Agreement (PSA), and Partnership Agreement. Here’s a closer look at each, how they work, the types of partnerships available, and a breakdown of deliverables for client partnerships.

1. Non-Disclosure & Non-Circumvention Agreement (NDNCA)

This agreement combines two critical protections:

Non-Disclosure (NDA): Ensures that confidential information shared between parties remains secure. This can include trade secrets, proprietary processes, client lists, and other sensitive information essential to protecting a business’s competitive edge.

Non-Circumvention (NCA): Protects against one party bypassing the other to directly engage with clients, vendors, or connections and potentially undermining the original arrangement.

Key Benefits:

• Protects sensitive information

• Ensures trust and transparency

• Prevents potential circumvention

2. Professional Services Agreement (PSA)

The PSA establishes terms of service, specifying the scope, fees, payment terms, and timelines related to professional services. It’s critical in outlining each detail, so both the service provider and client have clear expectations and understanding.

Key Elements:

Scope of Services: Detailed description of services provided

Payment Terms: Fees, retainers, and payment schedule

Timeline: Milestones or project deadlines

Termination Clauses: Conditions for ending the agreement

3. Partnership Agreement (Joint Venture Agreement)

A Partnership Agreement or Joint Venture Agreement formalizes collaborations, defining each partner’s contributions (whether capital, expertise, or resources) and outlining profit-sharing and decision-making rights.

Key Elements:

Roles and Responsibilities: Outlines each partner’s duties

Capital Contributions: Specifies financial or resource contributions

Profit and Loss Sharing: Defines distribution of profits and losses

Dispute Resolution: Sets up conflict resolution procedures

Types of Partnerships: Project, Financial, and Managerial Services

Choosing the right type of partnership is essential for the specific goals of a venture. Below are three primary types:

Project Partnerships: These are designed for specific projects with clear deliverables and end dates. Project partnerships typically involve shared resources and expertise to complete a defined scope within a set timeline.

Financial Partnerships: In these, one party provides funding or financial resources, while the other contributes expertise or services. Financial partnerships often have profit-sharing arrangements and are ideal for growth-focused or investment-heavy ventures.

Managerial Services Partnerships: In this setup, one party provides managerial oversight, while the other may handle operations or specialized tasks. This arrangement helps streamline decision-making and maintains quality and efficiency across larger projects or ongoing services.

Additional Aspects of a Client Partnership: Business & Media Law, Development, and Analytics

In the landscape of business and media, it’s critical to incorporate legal, ethical, and strategic planning. Here are some essential areas included in these agreements:

Business & Media Law (Ethics): Ensures compliance with legal standards and upholds ethical practices, particularly in content creation, advertising, and data usage.

Development: Encompasses brand and business growth, helping partners create systems for scaling effectively and sustainably.

Analytics: Provides insights on performance, consumer behavior, and market trends, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the partnership.

Reinforce and Solidify Who You Are: Re-plan and Organize Your Marathon

“Your feeling of safety is now related to order and clarity, even in emotions. You may have the need to organize everything chaotic and disorganized. Try being more tolerant and accept imperfections of life. It is better to trust life and let it run its own way, not everything must be according to expectations.”

New Moon in Virgo- September 17, 2020

This year has been a roller coaster ride and we’ve all been working on a change of pace. We’re in a space where we’re individually thinking about the collective; and how we can work together to raise the consciousness of humanity.

The divine self is untouchable. No harm can come to it, nothing can break it down. It is eternal and it is forever, and the only tune it vibrates is love.

Forever Consciousness

I had a conversation with one of my partners and mentors, Karen Hicks of a “Few Good Women”, and she dropped some jewels that helped move me in the right direction because my intuitive sense has been on point but the use of my sense wisely hasn’t. Things have been a bit clouded for me and moves have been based on emotions whereas I’ve definitely been in a space to reflect, rethink, and set new plans according to whom I’ve grown to.

SO the conversation with Karen basically led me here in my notes:

  • America is a place of mainly labor and services; not manufacturing, creating and growing.
  • Be still and be quiet
  • Time to teach the collective
  • “We (referring to black people)” don’t have pride in anything.
  • “Our (referring to black people)” conversations of sharing and thinking should be about perspectives; not about agreeing or disagreeing.
  • “Black people”, both sexes, are crooks and always scheming. They’re no different from those who so called oppress racially, in fact, not only do they do the same thing but they directly and indirectly work together in most cases.

All of the above have me stressed in some way, either I don’t want deal with it or its a challenge. My plans had begun to change and closer towards the 9th of September that feeling had gotten stronger. It made me want to get rest, rethink, and reorganize. I’ve been feeling the need to study my chart and pay close attention to self because there are areas or aspects of my life that haven’t been sitting well with me: public life, relationships, lifestyle, and my work flow.

September 17, 2020 we’re transiting through a Super moon in Virgo, working towards a total eclipse in December. New moons are good for starting a new cycle, new habits, and focusing on what you want to manifest. This moon has an extra boost because its a super, so use this energy productively. This new moon is paving the way for something new to emerge.

Mercury not only rules communication, it represents coordination. Thought processes, ideas, and sensory information from both conscious and unconscious sources all need to be coordinated and understood. Mercury analyzes, sorts, groups, and makes sense of things. How do we handle nervous energy? How do we express and convey our thoughts? How do we approach others and information in order to learn and exchange ideas?

Cafe Astrology

This new moon you may want to check in on your health as Virgo rules the 6th house that deals with slavery, service, and sickness (wellness, routine, health, and daily responsibilities) and mercury governs schooling and education, immediate environment of neighbors, siblings and cousins, transport over short distances, messages and forms of communication such as post, email and telephone, newspapers, journalism and writing, information gathering skills and physical agility (communication). It’s time to be of service to collective evolution. Its also time to cleanse yourself.

You are so much stronger than you realize. You know the way forward more than you are letting on. You know what to do. Trust yourself.

Word of The Day: Force Majeure

“An irresistible force or an unforeseen event beyond the control of a party, making it materially impossible to fulfill a contractual obligation.”

Bansal
Talks On Law

If you’re a business (company or entrepreneur), who’s finding it hard to do business during this time, you may be covered by this clause. This legal concept allows either party to limit their liability in an unforeseeable and extraordinary event. Coronavirus has forced major businesses that were “non essential” to close, leaving many out of work due to the act of god.

According to Fast Company ,”Fears of the virus also wouldn’t cut it, even under common law: In an English case from 1922, which set precedent, Hackney Borough Council v. Dore, the judge said, “The expression means some physical or material restraint and does not include a reasonable fear or apprehension of such a restraint.” So, a company may still be obligated to pay a venue for an event it’s unwilling to go ahead with; and a major sporting competition that cancels due to fears of outbreaks among fans may still have an responsibility to media buyers and corporate sponsors. In these instances, force majeure simply may not cut it.”

The Three Distinct Criteria requirements from Shearman and Sterling:

  • the event must be beyond the reasonable control of the affected party;
  • the affected party’s ability to perform its obligations under the contract must have been prevented, impeded or hindered by the event; and
  • the affected party must have taken all reasonable steps to seek to avoid or mitigate the event or its consequences.

When You Have Heroes as Friends: @SaintTheGoodBoy & Jesse James Saves the Day

Friday, September 7, 2018 King James (Jesse Stringer) and Saint “The Good Boy” (Lennell Davis) was looking for a party during after hours when they approached 79th Phillips and seen a building on fire.

I was told by a source that The Chicago Fire Department was on location and did not immediately respond to the fire. That’s what sparked both guys to go into the building on a rescue mission. Source reported that Jesse asked the Fire Fighters what were they waiting on to go into the building and one of the Fire Fighters responded by allegedly telling him to “go ahead and go in”.

I received a call from Saint shortly after they finished the rescue. For more information on the story, click link here, to get CBS2 Chicago’s account. They awkwardly produced their story deliberately stating that the The Chicago Fire Department’s Fire Fighters immediately responded, when I was told by a source, who was present, that they did not.

Nonetheless, it’s great to know that I have great friends/humans around who will sacrifice to ensure the well being of others. They could have kept riding and assumed that because the Chicago Fire Department was present they would take care of it. This is a good example of leadership and being an active citizen.
